Biography

Barbara Braunohler was a German-Canadian artist known for painting official portraits of prominent figures. She moved to Canada after severe post-World War II hardships. Limited information is available about her life and work, and specific details about her artistic style and themes remain to be studied. However, her artworks hang in various institutions such as the University of Toronto, the University of Guelph, the Anglican Church in Ottawa, and the Royal Ontario Museum.
